Kesmac Oy, a specialist in heavy machining, has invested in new production technology. Bold investments have improved customer service possibilities.<\/p>

Kesmac has served customers for over 28 years. Over the years, the PULP MINING PROCESS and the manufacture of equipment for the transfer, handling and storage of equipment such as conveyors, pressure containers and tanks have become our special expertise. The competent hands also create various large-scale subasseses, the manufacture of which includes cutting, welding, machining and assembly work. The hall space of 1 hectare and the lifting capacity of 20 tons enable large entities.<\/p>

At our production facilities in Kitee and Kes\u00e4lahti, we have the resources to carry out projects from the initial clip to the finished machine as contract manufacturing. Laser and water cutting, machining, welding and other assembly work and surface treatment can also be done as separate tasks. If necessary, we can install the products we have manufactured. We also offer our customers design services.<\/p>

Kesmac also has its own products. For example, the train wagon transfer device Kesmac TMS. More than a dozen devices for the transfer of railway wagons without locomotives have already been sold. Terrafame Oy, for example, has begun using this equipment at its metal factory in Sotkamo.<\/p>

Replenishment to machine base<\/h4>

KESMAC is constantly investing in production technology to improve customer service and competitiveness. For example, the goal is to be able to handle even thicker materials.<\/p>

Our latest investments are a 15 KILOWATT fibre laser with a table size of 2500 x 6000 mm. We are now able to cut 40 millimetres thick black and acid-resistant steel. This is one of the most efficient fibre lasers used in Finland.<\/p>

A new carousel lathe with a rotational diameter of 4200 mm has also been introduced. The latest investment is the CNC PORTAL MILLING MACHINE, installed in 2021, with a table size of a whopping 4000 x 6000 MM.<\/p>

KESMAC's customers include the paper and pulp industry, the mining industry and manufacturers of forestry machinery and power plants. Among the customers are the largest players in the industry and export companies.<\/p>
